Matt is a native of Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Harding University. He completed his doctorate at Nova Southeastern University. He is a licensed psychologist and now works as a clinical neuropsychologist at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama where he works with children with neurological disorders, trauma, and developmental disorders.

Matt joined the board in 2018 after serving as part of mission efforts to Por Los Niños and other areas in the Catacamas region. He was impressed and inspired by the Christ-focused mission of Family Life Missions and Por Los Niños and is now grateful to have the opportunity to serve the board and its supporters.

Matt lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife, Paige, and they have three daughters, Kenzie, Alyssa, and Avery.
