Collins Corder, M.D.

Board Chair

Collins Corder is a retired physician who brings extensive healthcare and nonprofit board leadership experience to Family Life Missions. He has served as president of the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society and on the board of the Midwest Health Initiative. He has served with a medical mission team in the mountains of Honduras. Collins values FLM’s commitment to strengthening families and providing comprehensive support that helps children thrive in safe, loving homes.

Matt Thompson

Board Vice Chair

Matt Thompson is a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He works with children with neurological, developmental, and trauma-related needs. A graduate of Harding University, he earned his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. Matt joined the FLM Board in 2018 after participating in mission efforts in Catacamas and being inspired by the organization’s Christ-centered commitment to children and families.

Matt Thompson

Board Vice Chair

Matt Thompson is a licensed psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He works with children with neurological, developmental, and trauma-related needs. A graduate of Harding University, he earned his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. John Collett

Board Secretary

John Collett is a software developer and founder of Collett Software Solutions. A graduate of Lake Forest College and Washington University, John was first introduced to the work of Por Los Niños in 2008 through mission teams and joined the Board in 2012. He values the opportunity to help steward the mission of Family Life Missions and its work strengthening children and families in Honduras.

Chris White, CPA

Board Treasurer

Chris White is a CPA and Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Upstream Rehabilitation. A longtime supporter of Family Life Missions, Chris has participated in several mission trips to Honduras, including helping dig the foundation for a Building Dreams home alongside his daughter. He brings both financial expertise and a strong belief that children belong in families to his service on the FLM Board.

Kristin Copeland

Board Member

Kristin Copeland is a marketing communications consultant with more than 15 years of experience in content strategy, thought leadership, and public relations. A graduate of Harding University with a degree in public relations and Spanish, she has participated in mission work in Honduras and Guatemala. Kristin has a longstanding relationship with FLM and served as interim executive director during a key organizational transition in 2018.

Kristin Copeland is a marketing communications consultant with more than 15 years of experience in content strategy, thought leadership, and public relations. Becky Frazier

Board Member

Becky Frazier serves as Spiritual Formation Minister at Otter Creek Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee. She holds a Master of Divinity from Lipscomb University and a Doctor of Ministry from George Fox University. Becky brings a passion for spiritual formation and equipping local churches to participate in God’s mission, including strengthening vulnerable children and families through the work of Family Life Missions.

Becky Frazier

Board Member

Alan Kelley attended Lipscomb University before earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Missouri. As a past FLM Board chair, he brings extensive business and nonprofit governance experience to Family Life Missions, having served on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including leadership roles with the Salvation Army Midland Division and Christian Family Services in St. Louis. Alan believes deeply in the importance of family and is committed to FLM’s work helping families remain strong, safe, and together.

Alan Kelley

Alan Kelley attended Lipscomb University before earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Missouri. Carol Echols

Board Member

Carol Echols holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and previously worked at the Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders in Birmingham, Alabama. Her relationship with Family Life Missions began with her first visit to Por Los Niños in 1998, and she joined the Board in 2006. Through numerous visits to Catacamas, Carol has developed a deep connection to the children, families, and communities FLM serves and remains committed to its Christ-centered mission.
